How do you sign the letter V in BSL?
Passive hand open, palm up. Spread the index and middle fingers of your dominant hand into a V and rest them on the passive palm. No movement. V is the 22nd letter of the two-handed BSL alphabet.
V is a spread pair of fingers on the palm; N is the same pair held together. Spread them clearly.
You will fingerspell V in names like Violet, Vincent and Vera and places like Ventnor and Verwood. Practise it next to U and W, its neighbours in the alphabet.
