How do you sign the letter F in BSL?

Extend the index and middle fingers of both hands. Lay the two fingers of your dominant hand across the two fingers of your passive hand. No movement. F is the 6th letter of the two-handed BSL alphabet.

The sign, demonstrated on video by a Deaf teacher.

F is two fingers across two fingers — the crossbar of the printed letter. Keep the pairs of fingers together, not spread.

You will fingerspell F in names like Freya, Finley and Florence and places like Falmouth and Folkestone. Practise it next to E and G, its neighbours in the alphabet.
