How do you sign the letter C in BSL?
The one letter made with a single hand: curve the thumb and fingers of your dominant hand into a C, seen from the side. No movement. C is the 3rd letter of the two-handed BSL alphabet.
C is the only BSL letter that does not touch the passive hand, which makes it the easiest to read from any angle.
You will fingerspell C in names like Charlie, Chloe and Callum and places like Cardiff, Cambridge and Chester. Practise it next to B and D, its neighbours in the alphabet.
